Blending artisan products with a growing focus on remedial massage, Pure Meridian is centred around holistic wellbeing. From hand-poured soy candles and botanical blends to nourishing oils and body care, each piece is thoughtfully crafted to support rest, restoration, and balance; both physically and mentally.
My name is Maria, and Pure Meridian is deeply personal to me. As a single parent and cancer survivor, I found myself searching for something more—something healing, purposeful, and sustainable. What began as a love for natural scents and self-care rituals has grown into a business that reflects resilience, independence, and a slower, more intentional way of living.
Now, as I work toward becoming a remedial massage therapist, Pure Meridian continues to grow alongside me. Massage has become a natural extension of what I create and offering not just products, but experiences that help people reconnect with their bodies, release tension, and feel supported and elevated in their wellbeing.
Rooted here in Tasmania, every detail is guided by care, intention, and a deep respect for the body and mind. Pure Meridian is about creating space—space to breathe, to rest, to be calmed and to feel relaxed and restored.
Meet your Therapist
Hi, I’m Maria—the heart behind Pure Meridian.
I’m a Tasmanian local, a mum, and someone who has found strength through life’s challenges. As a cancer survivor, my path has shaped the way I see health, wellbeing, and the importance of slowing down and truly caring for ourselves.
What started as a creative outlet of making candles, blending scents, and exploring natural remedies has quickly became something much more meaningful. It became a way to rebuild, to create stability for my family, and to connect with others through something positive and nurturing.
Today, I’m also working toward becoming an accredited remedial massage therapist, combining my passion for creating with hands on healing. I’m drawn to helping people feel better in their bodies; whether that’s easing tension, supporting recovery, or simply giving someone the space to relax and breath ; to reconnect with themselves without fuss or imprinting my own ideologies.
Pure Meridian is an extension of who I am and aspire to be ; grounded, genuine, and always evolving. Everything I offer is created with care, intention, and a real understanding of how important those small moments of comfort can be.
